Reading marathon 2021

Some days ago we shared a very special afternoon during the reading marathon. Courses came to the gym in separate groups and 7th form showed them some fragments of Matilda. After that, children spent some time reading books on their own.

5th and 6th: Shakespeare festival
April, 23rd was William Shakespeare's birth and death date so during our drama classes, children worked with Shakespeare's life, his work, and his legacy. 5th form worked virtually while 6th form at school but both groups prepared wonderful things to share.
Let's enjoy this project together in Shakespeare's honour.

Miniserie: "Adventure Time"

Les compartimos la miniserie "Adventure Time" realizada por las/os alumnas/os de 1ro a 6to grado en Inglés para quienes no hayan podido verla en vivo o para quienes quieran volver a verla. ¡Felicitamos a cada una/o de ellas/os por el esfuerzo y entusiasmo mostrado durante la preparación y grabación!

Un año recorrido...
un año distinto donde todos aprendimos que podemos estar cerca a través de la pantalla

Hoy festejamos el dìa de las maestras y los maestros.
Nuestras queridas niñas y niños junto con sus familias nos prepararon enormes sorpresas.
Les agradecemos mucho y se las compartimos para que festejen con nosotras y nosotros.

5th and 6th form enjoyed a delicious drama lunch session!! It was great fun! We played together and shared lunch time to celebrate children's day.
Thanks to all the ones who joined in to say Hello in the last game! It was nice seeing you all!!
Spelling bee competition(1st round)

Before the winter holidays, students from 2nd form to 6th form participated on the first round of the spelling bee contest in order to win points for the school's colours competition.
Congratulations to everybody! You did an excellent job!

6º y 7º - Festejamos el día de la niñez
El martes 18 de agosto nos reunimos con 6to y 7mo grado para celebrar el día de la niñez. Compartimos un hermoso momento, desayunando juntos, charlando, jugando y recordando momentos inolvidables en la escuela. Mostramos la colección otoño-invierno del América de Sur y las caricaturas que realizaron alumnos y alumnas de ambos grados de sus docentes.

1ST AND 6TH FORM SPECIAL
ZOOM CLASS.
BEFORE THE WINTER HOLIDAYS, 6TH FORM AND 1ST FORM SHARED SOME TIME IN A ZOOM CLASS. THIS PROJECT'S AIM WAS TO HAVE FUN BY PLAYING GAMES, DANCING AND, AT THE SAME TIME, LEARNING ABOUT ANIMALS AND THEIR HABITATS.
WE HAD LOTS OF FUN TOGETHER!
WE WILL SURELY MEET AGAIN AND SPEND A GREAT TIME.

6th form survival adventure
In one of our zoom sessions, 6th form students proved to be ready for any survival adventure! They explained how to survive on a desert island by focusing on different aspects: the need to search for food and water, the necessity of building a shelter, investigating the sorroundings of the island, making your own survival kit, preparing a rescue signal and caring for your clothes and the passing of time.

Los chicos y las chicas de 6to grado aprendieron sobre el género pictórico naturaleza muerta. Armaron sus propios modelos con fotos que sacaron en sus casas. Primero dibujaron en forma realista y luego de aprender del cubismo, transformaron sus obras en formas geométricas

6th Form: Working with google earth
After reading Kensuke's kingdom (up to Chapter 4), students were taught how to work with Google Earth. In two groups. they created projects showing the places the main characters of the story travelled to in the chapters they had read.

The students' secrets to be happy...
After the English teachers shared a video in the blog with our secret to be happy, some students from kindergarten to 7th form sent us videos and photos listening and telling us their secrets to be happy.
