Reading marathon 2021

Some days ago we shared a very special afternoon during the reading marathon. Courses came to the gym in separate groups and 7th form showed them some fragments of Matilda. After that, children spent some time reading books on their own.

Spelling bee competition: 1st round

Kids from 1st to 6th form participated on the 1st round of the spelling bee competition.  Some did it from home and others at school but everybody had lots of fun and did an amazing job!

5th and 6th: Shakespeare festival

April, 23rd was William Shakespeare's birth and death date so during our drama classes, children worked with Shakespeare's life, his work, and his legacy. 5th form worked virtually while 6th form at school but both groups prepared wonderful things to share.

Let's enjoy this project together in Shakespeare's honour.

Miniserie: "Adventure Time"

Les compartimos la miniserie "Adventure Time" realizada por las/os alumnas/os de 1ro a 6to grado en Inglés para quienes no hayan podido verla en vivo o para quienes quieran volver a verla. ¡Felicitamos a cada una/o de ellas/os por el esfuerzo y entusiasmo mostrado durante la preparación y grabación!

1st and 2nd form: It's ok to be different project

First and second graders got together to work on the book: "It's ok to be different". After sharing their ideas, kids wrote and drew their own book page, giving examples of why it's ok to be different.

7th form enjoyed a special zoom session to celebrate their day! We got all together to play and have fun, to laugh and share some nice and funny moments!!

It was a great experience that we will never forget.

Before the winter holidays, students from 2nd form to 6th form participated on the first round of the spelling bee contest in order to win points for the school's colours competition.

Congratulations to everybody! You did an excellent job!

El martes 18 de Agosto nos reunimos con los chicos y chicas de los Talleres del Jardín y compartimos un hermoso momento. 

Las maestras realizaron la representación teatral del cuento “La increíble historia de la zanahoria gigante” y luego compartimos una merienda entre todos y todas. 

Les compartimos el video de la representación. ¡Fue un hermoso momento!

BEFORE THE WINTER HOLIDAYS, 6TH FORM AND 1ST FORM SHARED SOME TIME IN A ZOOM CLASS. THIS PROJECT'S AIM WAS TO HAVE FUN BY PLAYING GAMES, DANCING AND, AT THE SAME TIME, LEARNING ABOUT ANIMALS AND THEIR HABITATS. 

WE HAD LOTS OF FUN TOGETHER!

America del sur students' alphabet

5th form worked on CSI(ESI)

Last June 24th, 5th form worked on CSI (Comprehensive Sexuality Education) Children analysed the song “Count on me” by Bruno Mars and learnt about emotions. In the board below, children give us a piece of advice to take care of ourselves and to take care of others during lockdown.

El 24 de junio 5to grado realizó la jornada de ESI a partir de la canción “Cuenta conmigo” (Count on me) de Bruno Mars. En la siguiente pizarra colaborativa se pueden leer las recomendaciones que nos dan los chicos y chicas para cuidarnos y cuidar a los demás en tiempos de pandemia.

6th form survival adventure

In one of our zoom sessions, 6th form students proved to be ready for any survival adventure! They explained how to survive on a desert island by focusing on different aspects: the need to search for food and water, the necessity of building a shelter, investigating the sorroundings of the island, making your own survival kit, preparing a rescue signal and caring for your clothes and the passing of time.
